How RADAR Works
Keep your patients on the RADAR Every Time, Everywhere
- HL7 interface engine automatically populates RADAR from the HIS/LIS/RIS/PACS
- Data points on patients, medical records, and physicians can be customized
- From the RADAR worklist, the interpreting clinician selects the patient
- With a few clicks of a mouse the alert of a critical or significant finding is created
- Or, the Alert can be created from the Result Report received through the HL7 System
- RADAR’s customizable, rules-based system then directs the communication of the alert
- Telephone, pager, facsimile, email
- Alerts are prioritized (red, orange, yellow, follow-up) based on user’s policies
- Open alerts are monitored and tracked, with escalating notification of targeted time lapse
- Once alert communication receipt is confirmed, RADAR puts alert into a closed status
- Open and closed alerts can be viewed at any time with a detailed timeline of their history
- RADAR’s database of closed alerts are maintained as user’s confidential property
- Compliance reports measuring results against stated goals are automatically generated
- Customized reports may be generated for various healthcare enterprise functions
- Practice Management
- Quality Assurance
- Risk Management
- Healthcare Enterprise management reporting and analyses
